The EZR type pilot-operated regulator is suitable for natural gas transmission, distribution, and industrial and commercial applications. Even in applications with unclean gas, the EZR type provides smooth, quiet operation, tight shut-off, and long-lasting performance. Its integrated metallic valve core eliminates the drawbacks of guided regulators, and its specially designed flow path deflects debris, thus protecting the valve seat from damage and corrosion.
The EZR type is used in conjunction with a 161EB series or 161AY series pilot and a Type 112 restrictor. By simply changing the pilot relief valve, the EZR regulator can be used as a high-pressure relief valve or a back-pressure regulator. It can also provide an integrated shut-off device for under-pressure and/or over-pressure protection.
